How do we write our pages?

Every GoldenPlay page starts from a simple question: what does a player need to know before pressing the button it describes? This policy explains how we research, how we check and how a reader can correct us. The short version: verified facts first, plain words second, opinion last and clearly marked.

Our editorial goal

We write practical information in plain language. A page about a bonus says what the bonus pays, what the wagering multiplies and when the offer expires - in that order, because that is the order a reader needs. Where our editorial view appears, as in the scorecard on our main page, every score is tied to a fact on the same page, so the verdict can be checked rather than believed. We would rather leave a sentence out than soften a rule into a guess.
Plain language is a choice, not a simplification. Wagering bases, expiry windows and verification thresholds are exact topics, and we state them exactly: “35x the bonus amount” rather than “wagering applies”, “within 30 days” rather than “for a limited time”. A reader should finish a page knowing what happens to the next ten euros they deposit.
We also write for more than one kind of reader. A newcomer needs the sign-up steps in order; a regular needs the reload calendar and the payout timing. Pages are structured so each reader can take their section and leave the rest, and the FAQ at the end of a guide answers the questions the body deliberately left out.

Sending a correction

  1. Read the page’s figure or rule against the live offer or your own account screen.
  2. If they differ, send us a message through the contact form or live chat, naming the page and the figure.
  3. An editor checks the claim against the current terms and the account reality.
  4. If the page was wrong, we correct it; if the live terms changed, we update the page to match.
  5. Corrections land silently - the current text is always the correct one.

Which sources count

The operator’s own rules

The terms attached to an account, a cashier and each promotion outrank everything else. When a rule matters - a wagering base, an expiry, a threshold - we quote it as written.

What we test ourselves

Registration paths, cashier routes and support channels are walked through, not assumed: a step described on our pages is a step an editor has taken.

What never becomes a fact

Rumour, forum sentiment and competitor claims do not make page facts. A number appears only when the operator states it or our own testing confirms it, and a gap in knowledge stays a gap rather than becoming a guess.
